As a security precaution, Google may require you to complete additional steps when trying to import emails from Gmail to mailwink. When importing emails from Gmail, mailwink logs in to your Gmail account to import the emails.
Google sees this as you signing into a new device or application and thus might block mailwink trying to sign in to your account.
We
recommend changing your Gmail password immediately after the import is
complete. You should also disable access to Less Secure Apps after the
import is complete. mailwink will never store your email's password.
To begin, allow mailwink access your Gmail account to import emails; you should do the below:
1. Allow access to your Google account
Go to the following link https://accounts.google.com/b/0/DisplayUnlockCaptcha & click on 'Continue'
2. Allow 'Less Secure App Access' at the following link : https://myaccount.google.com/u/0/lesssecureapps
If you still get blocked, this can be because google sees a login from a new device. Go to your google account and check https://myaccount.google.com/device-activity and let them know the 'Unknown device is ok to use'.
